Most of my work incorporates parallel dimensional imagery. Through this particular manipulation of painting and sculpture, I am able to express paradox, unite different moments in time, allude to the relationships between experience and other, transcendental, realities. Contemplating these artistic discoveries and envisioning future creative expressions is exciting. The more I create, the more I realize what is possible from this new art form.
Yet, I have the feeling that works with the repetitive parallel imagery (like "Go-In-Down", "Road Quark", "Something Fishy is Going On", "Giddy Up", etc.) are the more profound. They express relationships that transcend the ‘self’. The message goes beyond ego; it becomes fundamental, and to me, more real because of it. -1997.
